Crude & Oil Product Exports

Gazprom Neft Trading GmbH

Gazprom Neft exports oil through its exclusive trading subsidiary Gazprom Neft Trading GmbH, which was incorporated in 2005 in Vienna, Austria. Past and present exports have loaded from terminals such as Black Sea ports Novorossiysk, Tuapse, and Yuzhnyi and Baltic Sea port Primorsk. Gazprom Neft also exports via the Druzhba pipeline to Slovakia, Germany, Poland and Czechia.

The level of market prices for crude oil and oil products was very high during the first eight months of 2008, which led to a growth of revenue in 2008 compared to 2007. The crucial drop of the market prices in September 2008 entailed the decrease in sales, but at the same time the physical amount of the products, exported by Gazprom Neft, increased.

Sales of goods in 2008 amounted to almost 16 million tons of crude oil (2007: 12 million tons), - where of 12 million metric tons were delivered by sea ex Novorossiysk and Primorsk, whilst 4 million tons were exported via the Druzhba export oil pipeline - and 7.6 million tons of oil products (2007: 8 million tons) from the three Gazprom Neft refineries and 0.6 million tons (2007: 0.7 million tons) from additional purchases; sales of oil products from Slavneft-Start at the Mozyr refinery in Belarus totalled about 1.2 million tons (2007: 0.9 million tons).
