Filling stations

Gazprom Neft owns an extensive network of 1,596 gas stations Opens in new window located in Russia, CIS countries and Europe. Significant extension of the Company's gas station network in 2009-2010 occurred due to the acquisition of Sibir Energy and NIS (Serbia) a purchase of gas station networks in Kazakhstan and Tajikistan. The extensive geographic coverage of the Company’s gas station network Opens in new window and advantageous location of the Omsk, Moscow and Yaroslavl refineries ensure Gazprom Neft's leading position in the wholesale and retail markets of Western Siberia and Central Russia.

In 2010, the sales of petroleum products through the Company's gas stations in Russia grew by 18 percent, making up 3.047 million tons. The average sales of petroleum products per gas station increased by 11 percent and amounted to 10.1 tons per day.

The gas station network rebranding project is almost completed. As at the end of 2010, 950 gas stations were modernised. More than 1,000 gas stations are being renovated in 17 regions of Russia and CIS as part of a project to create a single gas station network under the Gazpromneft brand. Along with a new design, the rebranded gas stations will offer a wider range of services and national customer loyalty programmes. As experience has shown, the renewed Gazpromneft gas stations increase sales by 15 to 20 percent.

To render services to businesses, Gazprom Neft stations have introduced a corporate clearing system (CCS). The system uses Gazprom Neft fuel cards Opens in new window for corporate clients across all the Company’s gas stations. It allows the clients to calculate the money spent and the amount of petroleum products bought, set fuel consumption limits, and register the time and place where a vehicle is refilled. This offers corporate clients a convenient and cost-effective way to buy fuel.

In March 2010,Gazprom Neft launched the “Going One WayOpens in new window, federal loyalty programme for consumers. The bonus programme is a system of awarding discounts when buying goods or services at Gazprom Neft gas stations with a loyalty card. Cardholders accumulate points awarded for their purchases to pay for further goods and services. The programme currently covers 23 regions where Gazprom Neft gas stations operate, including Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Tver, Omsk, Yekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk, and others.
