Gazpromneft Marine Fuel is currently the most extensive operator in Russia and operates at all of the country’s key ports (including 19 seaports and ten river ports), as well as in the major European international ports of Tallinn, Klaipėda, Riga, and Rostock. Gazpromneft Marine Fuel entered the international market in 2013 through its acquisition of a bunker operator at the Romanian port of Constanța and the Estonian bunkering company AS Baltic Marine Fuel. The company plans to expand its fleet to twenty ships and secure a 27% market share in Russia. Total sales of bunker fuel should reach 8.2 million tonnes by 2025.
