With one of the most extensive distribution networks in Russia, Gazprom Neft consolidated its position in the retail oil products market in 2016, becoming the largest supplier of light oil products throughout those regions in which it operates. Sales of oil products on the domestic market amounted 27.11 million tonnes as of 2016.
The company has 1,852 filling stations throughout Russia, the CIS and abroad. As at the end of 2016, the company had 1,429 filling stations in operation in Russia and the CIS. According to research conducted by TNS in 2016,* 45 percent of Russian motorists choose Gazprom Neft stations for filling up. Enhanced-performance G-Drive fuels are the best-known brand, and the “On Our Way!” loyalty programme the most popular in the forecourt market. The research also confirms the Gazprom Neft filling station network as having the most consistent and loyal client base, who appreciate the Gazprom Neft network for its high-quality fuel, friendly service, superior loyalty programme, and modern filling stations.
The company increased its market share by 1.4 percent throughout those regions in which it operates, achieving a market share of 26.1 percent in 2016. Average daily sales per single filling station in the Russian Federation totalled 19.3 tonnes.
Aviation fuels are sold through the company’s Gazpromneft-Aero subsidiary, bunker fuels through Gazpromneft Marine Bunker, and engine oils and lubricants through Gazpromneft Lubricant. All of these companies operate in Russia, the CIS, and further afield.
