A film about the Gazprom Neft Cup, Ice-Hockey without Borders, will premiere on 30 August at 7:15 pm on KHL TV. Throughout the tournament, at the ice arenas and in the stands, at the training venues and in the changing rooms, film crews captured all of the most dramatic and exciting moments of this spring’s ice-hockey action. Their work has resulted in a documentary film titled Ice-Hockey without Borders, all about the XI Gazprom Neft Cup!
The Gazprom Neft Cup is the largest children’s ice-hockey competition in Europe. In April 2017, a record 27 teams from five countries — Russia, Finland, Latvia, Belarus and Kazakhstan — met in Sochi and Omsk to battle for the eleventh title. The celebratory atmosphere, new friendships, and thrilling victories once again showed that in ice-hockey, particularly the kids’ variety, there are no borders: the language that united these young athletes was the language of ice-hockey and fair play!
The premiere will be shown on KHL TV at 7:15 pm on 30 August. Don’t miss it!
