Feasibility Study of the Okhta Centre Project. Tender Results.11.12.2007Tender committee for the Commission on strategic projects’ consideration and implementation in St. Petersburg summed up the results of an open tender for the right to make a contract for conducting researches and preparation of feasibility study of construction of the Okhta Centre community and business area. The tender was won by the St-Petersburg State University of Engineering and Economics (ENGECON) that offered the best terms including the lowest cost of works, and complied with each requirement of the tender.
S&G Partners Consulting, CJSC and ZAO NKG 2K Audit – Business Consultations also were participants of the tender.
Feasibility study of construction of Okhta Centre is to include general information about the project and aggregate estimation of its commercial and budget efficiency. Feasibility study is prepared for two zones of the community and business area which will include a supertall skyscraper and accompanying buildings as well as a modern art museum and theater and concert hall.
Total building up area in zone I will be 312, 093 sq. m., in zone II – 47,379 sq. m.
Feasibility study is planned to be accomplished by the end of March 2008.
It is for the record that a new center, the Okhta Centre community and business area, is planned for construction in Krasnogvardeyskiy District of. St. Petersburg. OJSC Gazprom Neft and the St. Petersburg City Administration are the coinvestors of the project which will finance 51% and 49% of project cost, correspondingly. The titles for the construction objects will be allocated proportionally to the contributions.
