Entrepreneurs of Krasnogvardejskiy district positively evaluated perspectives of “Okhta Center” construction01.12.2008On Friday, 28th of November in the office of "Social and business center "Okhta" was held the field conference about small enterprises in Krasnogvardeyskiy district. The participants, among those were the head of the district Maria Scherbakova, representatives of Public council on small enterprise in Krasnogvardeyskiy district and managers of small and medium-sized enterprises, visited the construction site of "Okhta center".
General director of "SBC "Okhta" Nikolay Tanayev told to guests about the progress of preparation to the construction and perspectives of incidence enlargement for small business in connection with creation of a new social and business center.
The guests are highly appreciated the perspective of creation of "Okhta center". Realization of the project will lead to infrastructural improvement not only in the district but also in the neighboring districts. Communications will be reconstructed and upgraded, new possibilities of citizen services will appear. General economic situation in the district will rise and, as a consequence, buying power of the citizens who live and work in this area will rise. In its turn, this will lead to the development of networks of catering, cafes, restaurants, shopping spaces, etc.
Heads of the project initiator company assured that doubtlessly small and medium size enterprises will participate in the construction progress. Realization of such a huge project assumes that most of works will be transferred from large organizations to smaller ones. Small and medium-size business will get possibility of receipt of orders in field of services, transport, etc. (catering of construction personnel, delivery of building and other materials, etc).
