Gazpromneft-Aero reports 12-percent increase in refuelling volumes for international carriers at Domodedovo
Gazpromneft-Aero, operator of the Gazprom Neft aviation refuelling business, has increased monthly refuelling volumes at Moscow Domodedovo airport by 12 percent since September 2016 — an increase of almost 5,000 tonnes.
This growth has been achieved thanks to the conclusion of annual “wing-tip” refuelling contracts for flights operated by Etihad, NIKI airlines, Air Berlin and Air Serbia. Total refuelling volumes under these new agreements are in excess of 5,500 tonnes per year.
Before refuelling operations could commence representatives of these carriers undertook a full audit of the company’s registration and regulatory documents, as well as its financial accounts, confirming their full compliance with international standards in aviation refuelling.
Vladimir Egorov, CEO, Gazpromneft-Aero, commented: “Thanks to new agreements with Etihad, NIKI airlines, Air Berlin and Air Serbia our pool of international partners at Domodedevo has increased to 12 air carriers. Increasing sales volumes at capital-city airports is one of the company’s key strategic objectives. Adherence to international standards in aviation refuelling guarantees Gazpromneft-Aero clients high-quality refuelling services throughout domestic airports, in full compliance with all aviation safety and international service standards.”
