Gazpromneft-Aero concludes new agreement for refuelling airBaltic flights in Paris and Barcelona
Gazpromneft-Aero and Latvian national airline airBaltic have concluded a new agreement on the refuelling of the carrier’s scheduled flights at Charles de Gaulle (Paris) and El Prat (Barcelona) international airports. Gazpromneft-Aero, operator of the Gazprom Neft aviation refuelling business, will manage the refuelling of airBaltic flights abroad in partnership with aviation fuel direct suppliers including France’s Air Total and Spain’s Galp Energia.
Gazpromneft-Aero also currently provides refuelling services to airBaltic planes at Sheremetyevo airport, Moscow, and Pulkovo airport, St Petersburg. The Gazpromneft-Aero refuelling network delivered more than 11,000 tonnes of aviation fuels for airBaltic flights in Russia and abroad in 2015, a 28-percent increase on 2014.
Vladimir Egorov, CEO, Gazpromneft-Aero, commented: “We are keen to develop collaboration with international airlines, providing them with fuel and high-quality services not just in Russia, but abroad. Gazpromneft-Aero has been fine-tuning its operating procedures throughout its own refuelling facilities, implementing international service standards. In addition to which, collaboration with direct suppliers of aviation fuels — leaders in their local markets — means we can guarantee our clients a consistently high level of service and timely refuelling at more than 160 airports worldwide.”
