GRP Work Started at Krapivinskoe Field
A series of hydrofractures (GRP) has begun at Zapadno - Krapivinskoe field which is developed by JSC Gazpromneft - Vostok.
The basic purpose of this work is to increase volumes of oil recovery at the fields developed by the company.
In connection with autonomy of the field and absence of access roads GRP work is not traditional for the summer period.
Since 2002, measures on hydrofracturing are taken at Zapadno - Krapivinskoe field exclusively at presence of settled winter roads. It is connected with significant weight of equipment, GRP fleet machinery (more than 35 tons).
Considering high efficiency of GRP as a result of which productivity of well increases twice on the average, experts of Gazpromneft - Vostok together with Newco Well Service developed a summer variant of hydrofracturing. The equipment for hydrofracturing will be brought to the site by MI-26 helicopters.
For the first time it is planned to pump more than 100 tons of propant into wells. Earlier the facilitated "helicopter" variant of GRP fleet of Newco Well Service did not inject more than 50 tons of propant.
Gazpromneft – Vostok LLC believes that "summer" GRP will open new opportunities for independent fields of the company.
Gazpromneft – Vostok LLC was founded on 14.09.2005 and is a subsidiary of JSC Gazprom Neft.
The basic activity is oil recovery at the territory of the Tomsk and Omsk regions.
Since 2003 the enterprise has rendered operator’s services in the Tomsk region on development of Urmanskoe, Archinskoe and Shinginskoe fields. From 2006 drilling of operational wells began at four deposits: Southwest part of Krapivinskoe field of Tarskyi district of the Omsk region, Shinginskoe, Urmanskoe and Archinskoe deposits of the Tomsk region.
