In 2014, Gazpromneft-Lubricants increased its international market coverage to 52 countries including new additions such as Romania, Hungary, Taiwan, Egypt, Lebanon, Libya, Syria, Guyana, Israel, Bangladesh, Ghana and others. Gazpromneft-Lubricants had total sales via premium channels of 0.23 mn t in 2015.
Oil produced by the company meets the latest industry standards as approved by Mercedes Benz, VW, BMW, Porsche, Renault and GM*.
In 2014, the company commissioned an automated oil distribution line at the Mercedes Benz Trucks Vostok assembly plant to cover all production requirements by range and volume.
G-Energy oils are supplied on the Russian and European markets as both pre-packaged retail goods and wholesale supplies, to garages, service stations and the production lines of major automobile producers, for use on the first oil intakes of new vehicles.
More than 400 synthetic, semi-synthetic and mineral engine oils for petrol and diesel passenger vehicles and trucks are produced under the Gazprom Neft brand. Supplies of Gazprom Neft engine oils for corporate entities are made through regional distributors.
In 2014, Gazprom Neft started the G-Energy Service international programme to develop independent service stations. Nine G-Energy service stations have been launched in Russia, Italy, Georgia and Belarus so far.
Specialist oils produced under the Gazprom Neft brand include hydraulic, turbine, gear, compressor and quenching oils, as well as oils for slide ways, paper-production equipment and rolling mills.
The production of industrial oils involves close cooperation with world-leading high-technology additive producers (notably Lubrizol and Afton).
Gazprom Neft produces Texaco marine motor oils at its Omsk and Moscow Lubricant Plants. Chevron (owner of the Texaco brand) has inspected all of the company’s production facilities to ensure full compliance with international requirements and standards. As a result, these products are produced under Chevron’s licence. All Texaco branded oils have been endorsed by the world’s leading marine engine and systems producers, including MAN-B & W, Sulzer, Wartsila, Caterpillar, Deutz, ABB, Rolls-Royce and others.
G-Energy brand oils are produced at the company’s complex in Bari, Italy — a cutting-edge, high-technology complex with capacity to produce 30,000 tonnes of high-technology oils and 6,000 tonnes of lubricants every year.
Oils, lubricants and engine fluids under the Gazprom Neft brand are produced at the Omsk Lubricant Plant, the largest in Russia by total blending and packaging volume.
An important landmark during the year was the completion of construction and commissioning of the automated oil mixing station at the Omsk Lubricant Plant with a capacity of 180,000 tonnes per year and the launch of a new lubricant production section (5,000 tonnes per year).
All production facilities are certified under the ISO quality management system for the production, packaging, storage and sale of oils and lubricants.
