One of the key focuses for staff development is working with young specialists to create a pool of top level talent through a continuous training system at all employee levels.
The Company has a three-year programme, “Three Milestones”, which helps develop young specialists at the operating companies. Tailored activities enable these employees to explore their career potential along with development training and a mentoring system. The strongest graduates from this programme are added to a talent pool. The Company currently employs over 500 young specialists.
In 2014, Gazprom Neft approved a new scheme for higher education institutions to invest in the company and respond to company staffing requirements. Gazprom Neft’s experts tailor the learning process according to the requirements of the company.
Long-standing partners include the National Mineral Resources University, Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas, Lomonosov Moscow State University, Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, Ufa State Petroleum Technological University, Tomsk Polytechnic University, and Omsk State Technical University.
In 2014, a Gazprom Neft wing was opened at Omsk State Technical University and this accommodates 40 students.
Internships at Gazprom Neft companies are available to students from Gazprom Neft’s affiliate universities and colleges. Every year over 500 people go on Gazprom Neft sponsored placements.
