Gazprom Neft companies operate in 18 Russian regions, including the largest oil and gas areas in Khanty-Mansyisk Autonomous District, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District, Tomsk region, and Omsk region. The Company's sales network extends throughout the whole country.
Gazprom Neft not only contributes to the sustainable development of the regions as a major employer and taxpayer but is also a reliable partner for the local authorities by implementing programmes to support healthcare, education and culture and develop social infrastructure. Cooperation between the Company and the regions is ongoing and includes:
Partnership programmes with regional administrations under existing social and economic agreements
Support to indigenous families of the North who live in areas where the Company operates as part of individual social and economic agreements

In 2007 the Company approved a Charity Policy which sets forth the purposes and principles of the Company's charitable activities and specifies three priority areas for social investments:

Support of children and youth
Support of sports.
When selecting social programmes, the Company follows strategic Policy guidelines supporting the development and health of younger generations. These guidelinesalso apply to social and economic agreements with the authorities of the regions where the Company operates, as well as individual projects and initiatives.
