Support of Professional Sports

With the benefit of future generations in mind, Gazprom Neft’ provides support for professional and amateur sports in Russia. Sport development is a prerequisite for maintaining the health of any nation and is thus a recipe for the country’s success in the future.

 

Construction of sports facilities, equipping of sports grounds, and providing funds for rehabilitation of sportsmen and women, represent just part of the projects where Gazprom Neft’ is involved in the framework of the program for support and development of national sports.

 

Gazprom Neft’ is one of the general sponsors of FC Zenit and assists to the Russian Football Union. The Company provides financing of Ice Hockey Club SKA St. Petersburg and is a co-founder of Ice Hockey Club Avangard.

 

In October 2006 the Company became the principal sponsor of the Moscow Region’s yachting team participating in the Championship of Russia.
