Procurement plays a key role in the Company’s development. Gazprom Neft’ makes purchases on a competitive basis with tenders being the main method of such procurement activity.
In Gazprom Neft’ tenders are regarded as a certain system comprising the following components:
- rules and regulations;
- recommended practices;
- control system;
- information system.
The system’s objective is to ensure that effective, transparent, fair and competitively based procurement decisions are made.
The main method of purchasing is by open tenders, with other methods used on a limited scale. This approach helps enhance the transparency and openness of the procurement process of goods, works and services.
