The first 1C-certified training centre in Russia’s fuel and energy industry has gone into operation within Gazprom Neft’s subsidiary Information and Technology Service Company LLC (ITSC). The project is being implemented as part of a partnership agreement between Gazprom Neft and 1C — the companies having been collaborating for more than 10 years, singing a memorandum on strategic cooperation in IT in February 2017.
The new corporate training centre, which has been named the «1C School», will offer Gazprom Neft employees the opportunity to access basic information on the key mechanisms and potential of the 1C:Enterprise platform, as well as the knowledge and information necessary for working with specialist modules such as 1C:Accounting, 1C:Payroll & HR, and others, with certificates of professional training being awarded on completion.
Alexey Poperlyukov, CEO, ITSC, commented:
«Gazprom Neft is staking its bets on using domestic products: and using 1C is a good example of working with Russian developers. We are collaborating in the pursuit of two major goals. The first of which is — global: bringing cutting-edge digital products for the oil industry to the Russian market. The second objective is tactical — training Gazprom Neft employees, within ITSC, in the proper usage of IT tools in line with all the opportunities available to them. The ‘IC School’ is designed to address that task. Added to which, it’s clear that achieving both goals is directly related to improving the efficiency of business processes at Gazprom Neft.»
Andrey Brandaus, Director, 1C:Severo-Zapad, and head of the 1C representative office in the North-West Federal District, added:
«Opening the 1C School within ITSC is a major element in developing and introducing cutting-edge IT solutions for the oil and gas industry, based on 1C:Enterprise software. We continue to develop our strategic partnership with Gazprom Neft and look forward to this project becoming an effective strategic management tool that will allow the experience accumulated to be systemised and disseminated among both business units and individual employees, making it possible to develop innovative solutions within the company.»
