A technological industry leader
The Оmsk refinery is one of the most advanced refineries in Russia and one of the largest in the world, with an installed annual capacity of 20.89 million tonnes of oil per year.
Year-end data for 2017 shows the Gazprom Neft Omsk Refinery processed a total 19.6 million tonnes of crude oil, maintaining its leading position in the Russian refining industry. The yield of light petroleum products, moreover — one of the key performance indicators in oil refining — showed an increase on the preceding year to stand a record for the Omsk Refinery at 71.8 percent.

The hydrocracking complex at the Omsk Oil Refinery
The Omsk Oil Refinery will employ so-called „high-pressure (severe)” two-stage hydrocracking, at pressure of 18 MPa and a temperature of 380-400°С, able to operate in two modes: fuels and oils. As a result of commissioning the hydrocracking unit, the Omsk Refinery will increase production of refined light petroleum products by more than six percent, taking the raw materials base for production of modern Group II and Group III high-viscosity base oils to a new level.
In 2012 the World Refining Association (WRA) named the Gazprom Neft Omsk Refinery the best refining facility in Russia and the CIS. Products from the Omsk Refinery appear among the prize winners at the Russia-wide “100 Best Russian Products” every year.
