Gazprom Neft is actively involved in exchange trading in oil and oil products in Russia

Leading the pack

Gazprom Neft is a co-founder of the St Petersburg International Mercantile Exchange (SPIMEX), making its oil products available for trade on a regular basis since 2009, and is one of Russia’s leading vertically integrated oil companies in terms of exchange trading volumes, as well as purchasing crude on SPIMEX and registering over-the-counter (OTC) contracts.

In conjunction with SPIMEX and market regulators Gazprom Neft is an ongoing participant in designing, implementing and developing modern exchange mechanisms.

In 2017 Gazprom Neft became the first Russian vertically integrated oil company to act as a market maker on the SPIMEX futures market.
