The Bolshoy Ice Dome – the Kontinental Hockey League's most cutting-edge facility, home to local hockey club "Sochi"

The Bolshoy Ice Dome was built in 2013 for the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, with all hockey matches for the Winter Olympics taking place in February of that year. It has also hosted the Channel One Night Hockey League gala match, the Channel One Cup, in 2014, and the KHL All-Star Game of 2015.

Facilities include two rinks, 16 dressing rooms, and a modern press centre. A stand-out technological feature of this arena is its ultra-modern "media-cube", weighing more than 26 tonnes.

The opening and final "West Group" matches of the 10th KHL International Kids' Hockey Tournament, the Gazprom Neft Cup, will take place at the Bolshoy Ice Dome, on April 20th and 22nd, respectively.
