Gazprom Neft donates free personal protective equipment (PPE) to the Kurganskaya Oblast infectious diseases hospital

Gazprom Neft has forwarded antiviral medical PPE, hazmat suits, overalls, respirators and goggles to the Kurganskaya Oblast, with this protective equipment being delivered to the Oblast’s specialist infectious diseases hospital as part of the company’s “Gazprom Neft for Medics” campaign. The company has also arranged three hot meals a day for hospital staff.

“Thanks to doctors’ professionalism and dedication, the spread of COVID-19 is gradually stabilising and we are, step-by-step, getting back to a ‘new normal’. But medics are still having to work under very difficult conditions, and Gazprom Neft is trying to make their work as safe and efficient as possible. We are expanding the geographic coverage of our ‘Antivirus’ campaign, and are sending PPE and other protective equipment to more hospitals.”

“I am grateful to Gazprom Neft for helping our infectious diseases hospital. This help is very timely, and we are very much in need of it. The company has come to our rescue at a very difficult time. And that’s very much appreciated.”
Vadim Shumkov Governor, Kurgan Oblast

Gazprom Neft has also — as part of its integrated “Antivirus” campaign, directed at combatting the spread of COVID-19 — previously been offering ambulances oil-changing services throughout its G-Energy Service centres, free of charge. Volunteers throughout the Kurganskaya Oblast involved in helping elderly people and those with reduced mobility have also been offered free fuel cards to be used throughout the Gazpromneft filling-station network.
