Gazprom Neft Shelf provides assistance to the Naryan Mar hospital, Nenets Autonomous Okrug
Gazprom Neft Shelf has provided charitable assistance to the R.I. Batmanova District Hospital in Nenets Autonomous Okrug, with the allocated funding being used to purchase medical products and medicines to fight Coronavirus infection.
Gazprom Neft is implementing an integrated programme to combat the spread of COVID-19, which includes an extensive range of initiatives (collectively known as the company’s “ANTIVIRUS” project) throughout its production facilities, as well as assistance to doctors and medical agencies throughout the country.
“Onshore infrastructure facilities relating to the Prirazlomnoye project — including shift accommodation at Varandey and the Arctichesky helicopter pad — are located within the Nenets Autonomous Okrug. The Nenets District Hospital is one of the nearest medical facilities for hospitalising Prirazlomnaya rig workers in the event of an emergency. The Naryan-Mar hospital has been providing medical assistance to local residents for more than 80 years.
Under the current challenging epidemiological situation, support is more important than ever before. And we are always ready to come to the rescue not only of our colleagues and partners, but also those on the frontline in the war on COVID-19 — our doctors!
I hope that our contribution helps all specialists in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug in their day-to-day work: from ambulance and air-ambulance first responders to nurses and all other medical personnel.”
