Gazpromneft-Vostok employees are getting COVID vaccinations in the field

Gazpromneft-Vostok has been organising voluntary vaccinations at remote fields in the Tomsk Oblast, with hundreds of company and contractors’ employees at the Urmanskoye, Zapadno-Luginetskoye, Yuzhno-Tabaganskoye and Archinskoye fields having, already, taken the opportunity to protect themselves against COVID-19.

Vaccinations are undertaken by a specialist medical organisation, whose staff travel out to remote fields. Medics guarantee full compliance with all transportation, storage and vaccination requirements, in line with Russia’s Ministry of Health regulations. Specialists manage preliminary examinations and post-vaccination monitoring of shift workers taking part in the programme. Company employees and contractors have the opportunity to get both vaccine doses while on-shift at the field. Almost 300 people have had in-field vaccinations, so far.

“I’ll be getting both doses at work, which means I’ll be coming home already fully vaccinated. This is very convenient — you don’t have to waste time between shifts going to a clinic, making a doctor’s appointment, and waiting in a queue. Added to which — there’s always a doctor at the field, and if I have any questions about my health I can go and get answers, at any time.”

«Вакцинация имеет свои плюсы для вахтовиков. Те, кто провакцинировался и имеет справку о наличии антител смогут попадать на промысел по упрощенной схеме заезда, минуя буферный терминал. Кампания по вакцинации на промыслах только стартовала, и нам приятно видеть, что партнеры, работающие с нами, становятся ее активными участниками»
Arkady Aksenov “Vaccination has particular advantages for shift workers. Anyone who’s been vaccinated, and who’s been certified has having antibodies, can go out to the field under a simplified check-in scheme, avoiding any buffer zones. The vaccination drive at the fields has only just started and it’s good to see partners working with us getting actively involved.”
