АНТИВИРУС - программа «Газпром нефти» против COVID-19
Herd immunity among Gazpromneft-Razvitiye employees now stands at more than 80
Gazpromneft-Razvitiye is continuing voluntary vaccination of its own and its contractors’ employees. Herd immunity against COVID-19 among the company’s employees has now reached 82%.
That level, according to virologists, provides the required level of protection against infection. Employees at Gazpromneft-Razvitiye’s offices in Tyumen and St Petersburg, as well as in-field shift workers, have all been involved in the vaccination drive, with many employees getting vaccinated independently at medical institutions.
Health specialists have not only been involved in organising this process, but also in advising employees on preparing for the procedure, and in monitoring their condition after vaccination. In addition to this, Gazprom Neft employees have access to information materials on vaccination, including interviews with experts giving answers on matters of most concern.
As well as protecting its own employees, Gazpromneft-Razvitiye has been helping to vaccinate employees at contracting organisations engaged at production facilities in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug’s and Taz and Yamal districts. More than 870 employees at partnering companies have been double-jabbed so far — the objective being to achieve 70% herd immunity among contractors’ employees in the near future.
“Achieving 80% herd immunity at Gazpromneft-Razvitiye so fast says a great deal, more than anything else, about employees’ personal responsibility, and their deep appreciation of the problem of the pandemic. I’m sure people were motivated not just by management’s instructions to get vaccinated, and concerns for their own personal safety, but also by a sense of responsibility for the health of their colleagues, and the wellbeing of their team. So I don’t just want to congratulate everyone on achieving the target level of herd immunity, but would also like to thank everyone at Gazpromneft-Razvitiye who’s taken the decision to get vaccinated and, on that basis, helped contribute to the company’s overall safety and helped us ensure normal operations under the pandemic.”
