The Gazpromneft Omsk Oil Refinery , a subsidiary of Gazprom Neft, is one of Russia’s most advanced oil refineries and one of the largest in the world. In 2012, the Omsk Oil Refinery processed 20.95 million tons of oil. The oil conversion ratio was 88.83 percent, which makes the company one of the best in the industry by this indicator.
A modernization program is currently underway at the enterprise. The main objectives of the program are reducing the environmental impact of motor fuels, increasing the oil conversion ratio, and expanding the company's range of products. Gazprom Neft’s will invest a total of 115 billion rubles in development of the plant before 2020.
Based on the refinery's performance in 2012, the Russian Union of Commodity Producers awarded the Omsk Oil Refinery the A.N. Kosygin prize for the great contribution made by the refinery team and Gazprom Neft to modernizing and renovating the enterprise.
Each year, the Omsk Oil Refinery’s products receive awards in the Russia’s Hundred Best Products annual competition. In 2013, six petroleum product items produced by the Omsk Oil Refinery entered the federal stage of the competition after completing the regional stage.
