G-Drive Racing Team Places First at 6 Hours of Sao Paolo

Russia’s G-Drive Racing team, supported by Gazprom Neft’s G-Drive Link will open new window premium gas brand, has won first place at 6 Hours of Sao Paolo. The Brazilian race is held every year on the legendary Interlagos track, and is one of the stages of the FIA World Endurance Championship.

The G-Drive Racing crew, consisting of Roman Rusinov, Mike Conway, and John Martin, is competing for Russia in the LMP2 class. On the challenging track in Sao Paolo, the crew quickly pulled away from their competitors into the lead. G-Drive Racing surged ahead during the first laps, and remained a frontrunner throughout the race.

“A well-executed victory, this latest top showing for the G-Drive Racing crew gives them a real chance of placing in this season’s FIA World Endurance Championship. We are proud that G-Drive gas, which we have been testing during these lead-up events, has helped to propel the team to excellent results,” remarked Alexander Krylov, Director of Regional Sales at Gazprom Neft.

The next stop for G-Drive Racing is Austin (USA), on September 22.
