Gazpromneft Lubricants Ltd (Gazpromneft Lubricants, the oils and lubricants division of JSC Gazprom Neft), has opened its first service centre in Russia under the company’s own international “G-Energy Service” programme.
The new service centre is located in the city of Balakovo in the Saratov Oblast, on Akademika Korolyeva Schosse — a major thoroughfare linking the eastern and western banks of the river Volga.
The G-Energy Service Centre comes equipped with two oil-changing stations, and sells a range of Gazpromneft Lubricants’ products, including the fully synthetic G-Energy F Synth 5W-40 engine oil, the semi-synthetic G-Energy Expert L 10W-40, and the multipurpose G-Energy Expert G 10W-40. Oils and engine fluids supplied to the station are designed for both Russian and international marques, both within warranty and beyond, and meet the most demanding international quality standards.
Under the terms of the G-Energy Service programme, Gazpromneft Lubricants provides full support to service-centre partners operating under the G-Energy Service brand — assisting in the procurement of specialist equipment, training personnel, and helping facilitate station fit-outs. The project will involve the centres providing oil-change services, as well as the replacement or changing of engine and transmission oils, and other engine fluids.
The programme has already been initiated in three service centres in Italy, as well as one in Greece. All service centres offer state-of-the-art facilities, fully equipped with cutting-edge equipment, and meeting the highest industrial and ecological safety standards. The G-Energy Service programme is expected to expand throughout Russia, the CIS, Western Europe, the countries of the Middle East, and other regions in which the company operates.
Alexander Trukhan, CEO, Gazpromneft Lubricants, commented: “We expect to have a further three service centres in Russia operating under the G-Energy Service brand in the short term — in St Petersburg, in Orenburg, and in Bataysk (Rostov Oblast): and we expect to open around 40 such service centres in 2015. The importance of this programme to the wider market is all too evident to us, and we are committed to its proactive development. An initiative of this kind is genuinely unique in Russia — not one of our domestic competitors is currently implementing a project of similar scope.”
