Gazpromneft-Aero monthly fuel supplies to flydubai up by fifty percent

Gazpromneft-Aero, operator of the Gazprom Neft aviation refuelling business, has concluded a new long-term agreement for “wing-tip” refuelling services for regular flydubai flights at Manas International Airport, Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan — allowing the company to increase deliveries to that airline by 50 percent, to more than 370 tonnes per month.

The airline will operate flights on the Dubai — Bishkek — Dubai route, on Boeing 737-800 planes, four times per week. Gazpromneft-Aero currently is also responsible for refuelling flydubai aircraft at Vnukovo International Airport, Moscow. Prior to commencing refuelling services for the airline, the Gazpromneft-Aero refuelling complex at Manas International airport was inspected by representatives of flydubai. Experts confirmed the high level of both operational and environmental safety at the refuelling complex, allowing the refuelling of aircraft without any limitations.

Gazpromneft-Aero is a market leader in the domestic refuelling of airlines from the countries of the Persian Gulf, supplying fuel for regular Emirates flights out of Domodedovo and, from 2014, commencing cooperation with Qatar Airways and Etihad Airways.

Gazpromneft-Aero CEO Vladimir Yegorov commented: “Gazpromneft-Aero’s total refuelling volumes for UAE airlines reached more than 43,000 tonnes in 2014. The expansion of our geographical collaboration with flydubai for is, for us, further confirmation that the quality of the fuel and services offered by Gazpromneft Aero meets the highest international standards. We plan to further extend our cooperation with airlines from the countries of the Persian Gulf, as well as further strengthening our position as the market-leading aviation fuel supplier on the Russian market.”
