Gazprom Neft Press Office:
Gazpromneft Aero, operator of the Gazprom Neft aviation refuelling business, has begun refuelling Germania and Air Hamburg carriers at the Kaluga and Nikola Tesla international airports (Russia and Belgrade), taking the company’s pool of international partners to 79.
Refuelling operations in Serbia are being undertaken in partnership with oil company NIS, with whom Gazprom Neft currently collaborates at airports in Belgrade and Nis, with further cooperation planned throughout the Balkans.
Gazpromneft Aero is committed to constantly fine-tuning its technological operations with international companies, thanks to the implementation of IATA (International Air Transport Association) standards. The company operates a single and inclusive technical policy, consistent not just with Russian but also international fuel-quality control standards and refuelling processes. Gazpromneft Aero today operates the largest international refuelling network of all Russia’s vertically-integrated oil companies, as well as offering aviation refuelling services to international carriers abroad. A further long-term contract, for the refuelling of scheduled flights for national Latvian carrier airBaltic at Charles de Gaulle airport, Paris, and El Prat airport, Barcelona, was also signed in 2016.
Gazpromneft Aero CEO Vladimir Egorov commented: “We are committed to further extending cooperation with international carriers offering flights to any part of the world. The implementation of international practice in aviation refuelling guarantees our clients quality refuelling services at domestic and international airports, as well as full compliance with all aviation safety standards. The further development of Gazpromneft Aero’s competitive advantages of a wide distribution network and high service standards will allow the company, long term, to become one of the leaders in the global aviation refuelling market.”
