Gazprom Neft among the winners in the XXI Moscow Exchange and RCB Media Group Annual Report Competition

Gazprom Neft was among the winners in the XXI Moscow Exchange and RCB Media Group annual year-end reports competition, taking first place in four nominations simultaneously. The Gazprom Neft annual report was named the best among companies with capital of more than RUB200 billion, and the best in the oil and gas sector, as well as being named the best report in a further nomination for most effective communication. The company also won first place for most transparent disclosure of information on a corporate website, and second place for disclosing information on corporate governance.

The Annual Report Competition, organised by the Moscow Exchange (MOEX) and RCB Media Group, is one of the most important events of the year in corporate governance and investor relations. One hundred and 22 companies took place in the competition this year, with their entries assessed by a jury comprising representatives from leading investment funds, professional associations, non-governmental organisations (NGOs), regulatory agencies, leading financial analysts, and corporate governance and corporate communications specialists.

Members of the competition committee stressed the high professional standards of the Gazprom Neft annual report, its good structure, detailed information on the outlook for the company’s future development and global trends driving the company’s advantage in the long term, and its reflection of business solutions in response to current challenges facing the industry and the global economy.

“Openness is one of the key principles underpinning Gazprom Neft’s business, and one of the company’s most important competitive advantages. Winning this competition says a great deal not just about the high standards in the report’s preparation per se, and the professionalism of the team working on it — it also testifies to the effectiveness of our engagement with shareholders, investors and other stakeholders,” stressed Elena Ilyukhina, Deputy CEO for Legal and Corporate Affairs and Member of the Management Board, Gazprom Neft.
