Gazpromneft Lubricants, operator of the Gazprom Neft lubricants business, has increased sales of its premium G-Energy branded lubricants by 12 percent in 2018, to 52,000 tonnes.
Total sales were up 21 percent, to 703,000 tonnes. Sales in Russia, in particular, increased by 26 percent, to 479,000 tonnes, while international sales were up 11 percent, reaching 224,000 tonnes — the strengthening of the company’s international distribution network (which now includes about 300 partner companies) being the main driver behind this growth, together with a wider range of high-performance lubricants and the launch of innovative specialist products. Gazprom Neft expanded the geographic range of its lubricants sales in 2018 to reach 78 countries including Nepal, Pakistan, Singapore and Tanzania.
The company continued to develop its G-Energy Service programme, with its service-station network now numbering 170 garages in 16 countries. The number of motorists taking advantage of express oil-change services at partnering service stations reached 360,000 in 2018.
