Within the framework of RF President Dmitriy Medvedev’s visit to Serbia, Gazprom Neft Chairman of the Management Board Alexander Dyukov paid a visit to Belgrade. On October 19, Alexander Dyukov took part in the work of the mixed intergovernmental commission dealing with the issues of Russian-Serbian economical relationships development. Discussions held between the members of the Russian delegation and their Serbian colleagues covered progress in joint economical projects including, in particular, a positive evaluation of the project for development of NIS Oil Company controlled by Gazprom Neft since February 2009.
Besides, the negotiations touched the issues of implementation of the project for creating of joint ventures on construction of the Serbian part of the Southern Stream gas pipeline, and Banatskiy Dvor underground gas storage extension. The commission members appreciated the trend of bilateral relations in the sphere of economical, scientific and engineering and cultural cooperation.
In the course of the visit to Belgrade, Gazprom Neft Chairman of the Management Board Alexander Dyukov held a meeting with NIS management to discuss the company’s operational results for 9 months of the current year and its development strategy.
Today Alexander Dyukov will participate in enlarged negotiations between the President of the Russian Federation Dmitriy Medvedev and the President of Serbia Boris Tadic that are expected to result in signing of a number of agreements aimed at intensification of economical cooperation between the two countries.
