Gazprom Neft increases its geographic coverage in “wing-tip” refuelling to reach 200 airports

Gazpromneft-Aero, operator of Gazprom Neft’s aviation refuelling business, has begun refuelling planes for Volga-Dnepr Airlines at Qingdao airport in China, with Qingdao Liuting International Airport (TAO) becoming the two-hundredth in the company’s international network and the 25th in the People’s Republic of China. “Wing-tip” refuelling at airports throughout China falls under the strategic partnership between Gazprom Neft and the country’s national aviation fuel suppler, China National Aviation Fuel Group Corporation (CNAF).

Thanks to its partnership with leading national aviation refuelling companies, Gazpromneft-Aero is responsible for refuelling 18 Russian and international airlines, throughout 66 countries worldwide. Q1 2019 results show the company increased sales of aviation fuels at international airports by 26 percent, to 88,000 tonnes.
