Management Structure Reform Launched At Gazprom Neft

JSC Gazprom Neft began restructuring of the management model aiming at a phased transition from a linear-functional type of management to target-oriented divisional structure based on a product-line principle and creating separate centers of financial responsibility.

The management company’s operational model will be changing from “The Operator” to “The Strategic Supervisor” mode with assignment of some functions to regional structures and to the Company’s subsidiaries.

The main principle of the interaction is based on operational independence of daughter companies that operate on the basis of a common strategy, policies, standards and corporate culture formulated by the parent company.

Transition to a new management structure will provide JSC Gazprom Neft with an instrument to improve its competitiveness and performance against those of the world’s industry leaders, to increase sales of its products as well as will enable the company to get closer to consumers through assignment of daughter companies’ functions on the product–line principle.
