Gazprom Neft to supply cutting-edge lubricants to businesses in the Saratov Oblast

Press-release Partnership

Gazprom Neft has signed a Cooperation Agreement with the Saratov Oblast on import-substitution in lubricants and service fluids. The document was signed at this year’s St Petersburg International Economic Forum by Alexander Dyukov, CEO and Chairman of the Management Board, Gazprom Neft, and Vadim Oikin, First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Saratov Oblast.

Businesses in the Saratov Oblast’s industrial complex use 17,000 tonnes of lubricants every year, one quarter of which are imported products. Under this agreement Gazpromneft Lubricants, operator of the Gazprom Neft lubricants business, will increase supplies of modern, high-tech lubricants and service fluids to the region’s energy businesses and industrial enterprises, as well as housing and utilities infrastructure facilities.

Alexander Dyukov, Chairman of the Management Board, Gazprom Neft, commented: “The Saratov Oblast is a major industrial and transport and logistics centre for the Volga Region. The region’s machine-building, energy, and manufacturing industries are all in active development. Gazprom Neft, as the technological leader in the refining industry, is keen to offer a wide range of lubricants, as well as offering service support and scientific and technical expertise, to help improve the energy efficiency and competitiveness of businesses in the Saratov Oblast.”
