Gazprom Neft completed a social-economic agreement with the Khanty-Mansijsk Autonomous District Authority for the year 2007

JSC Gazprom Neft and the Khanty-Mansijsk Autonomous District Authority completed a cooperation agreement for the year 2007.

The agreement was signed by the JSC Gazprom Neft President Alexander Dukov and the Khanty-Mansijsk Autonomous District Governor Alexander Filipenko.

The cooperation agreement 2007 was signed as a part of the general cooperation agreement 2006-2008 between JSC Gazprom Neft and the Khanty-Mansijsk Autonomous District Authority.

The main lines of the cooperation will be in the field of tax payments and budgeting commitments, the social-economic development of the District and its municipal units.

In the course of the visit in the Khanty-Mansijsk Autonomous District Alexander Dukov as a chairman of the SIBUR Holding’s board of directors discussed results of the cooperation between Gazprom Neft and SIBUR Holding and the District in 2006 and joint project 2007 with the Khanty-Mansijsk Autonomous District Governor.

Alexander Dukov said: “Gazprom Neft is going to increase oil production in the Khanty-Mansijsk Autonomous District by 2 million tons and invest more than 15 billion rubles in the District. SIBUR Holding in its turn refines nowadays 9,5 billion cu.m. and the company is going to increase oil refining to 15 billion cu.m till 2010. Increase of companies’ production will lead to a growth of tax revenues in the District’s budget”.
