Sibneft Delegation To Visit Yakutsk For Coordinating Company Plans with the Government of Sakha Republic (Yakutia)

A Sibneft delegation will visit Yakutsk in May this year with the view of adopting, together with the government of Sakha Republic, the plans for company’s activities in the region, - it was revealed at the meeting of president of Yakutia Vyacheslav Shtyrov and president of JSC Sibneft Alexandr Ryazanov held on May 5.

In 2006 Sibneft won two auctions for geological survey and further development of oil and gas fields – Tympuchikanskoye and Khotogo-Murbaiskoye – situated in the Lenskiy District of Sakha Republic.

The press-service of the president and government of Yakutia points out that JSC Sibneft expressed its willingness to cooperate with the Republic’s administration in various areas.

According to Vyacheslav Shtyrov the presence of the Russia’s oil and gas industry leaders in the Republic will give a fresh impetus to social and economic development of the region.
