Gazprom Neft - Moscow Refinery — is a subsidiary of Gazprom Neft. The refinery's installed capacity is 12.15 mmt per year. The enterprise produces automobile (motor) gasolines, diesel, marine and jet-grade fuels, fuel oil (mazut), bitumens and gases for a variety of applications. The refinery is a leading producer of high-octane gasolines and diesel fuels catering to around 40% of the Moscow Region's demand in petroleum products. In August 2012 the refinery increased its output to a record 1.06 mmt, which is 6.3% up compared to the same period last year.
Over the last 8 months of 2012 the Moscow Refinery’s production has reached 7.6 mmt, which is 3.2% higher than during the same period in 2011. The light oil product yield has reached 4.3 mmt, which is 2.1% higher than in 2011, including 1.5 mmt of high-octane gasolines, which grew by 2.1% compared to the 8 month period in 2011. The output of aviation kerosene is 470 thousand tons.
In April 2012 the Moscow Refinery launched the production of Euro-4 high-octane gasolines – almost three years earlier than scheduled by the Technical Regulations.
The Moscow Refinery is implementing a large-scale modernisation program with a total investment commitment of over RUB 130 billion until 2020.
