The arena was dedicated to the famous Russian soccer player and coach Yuri Morozov. Everybody can use the facility just like professional athletes, regardless of their age and skill level. The facility will allow handicapped persons to play sports. The latest technology was used in the design and construction of the venue. It boasts modern equipment and stock, providing most comfortable conditions to play sports at any time of year.

The building, which has a total area of more than 7,400 sq m, includes a general-purpose gym, a pool, a weight-room, and an aerobics hall. Spectator stands in the gym will accommodate 350 people, while the pool has room for 100 spectators. The general-purpose gym can be converted to an area for concerts, meetings, or conferences. It has been furnished with a protective cover, extra seats, and sound- and lighting equipment.

"Investing in the areas in which we operate is the top priority of our company's social policy," said Aleksandr Dyukov, Chairman of Gazprom Neft's Management Board. "We give special attention to promoting physical fitness and sports. Construction of the Morozov Zenit Arena in Noyabrsk is a good example of this approach. This facility is the company's largest project in its program to create key elements of social infrastructure in areas that are strategically important to Gazprom Neft."

Governor of the YNAO Dmitry Kobylkin emphasized that Gazprom Neft and the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug have long enjoyed a stable working relationship. "The company, for which Yamal is a key region, has always demonstrated a socially-responsible approach to business and to life in the region. Thousands of Gazprom Neft's employees and their families work and live here. As of today, the Zenit arena is the largest project that has been implemented as part of socio-economic agreements between the region and Gazprom Neft. We plan to continue the program of building Olympic-level sports arenas that are available to all and comfortable for both families and world-class athletes," said Dmitry Kobylkin.
