Throughout the day, the G-Drive Racing prototype was driven in turns by racers Roman Rusinov (Russia), John Martin (Austria), and Mike Conway (United Kingdom).

“Out of all the stages of the FIA World Endurance Championship, Le Mans is the key race. That’s why it was so important for us to climb the winner’s podium. This year was the first time that a team bearing a Russian license and a Russian flag participated in Le Mans, and we are glad that G-Drive fuel once again demonstrated its enhanced properties,” said Gazprom Neft Regional Sales Director Alexander Krylov.

“This is an exciting result,” notes Roman Rusinov, the Russian driver on the G-Drive Racing team. “We finished third in the most prestigious race on the planet in the opening season of the Russian team in the FIA World Endurance Championship! It’s especially pleasant that this year the legendary Le Mans is celebrating its ninetieth year, and our win is a gift to all Russian fans of the G-Drive Racing team!”
