Gazprom Neft and Jaguar Land Rover Russia have entered into a partnership, to run throughout 2015 and 2016. The first phase of this collaboration envisages Gazprom Neft supplying premium G-Drive and diesel fuels for use in test drives at the new Jaguar Land Rover Brand Experience Centre, due to open in the Moscow Oblast in September 2015. Joint participation in television and motor-sports shows is also planned, as well as cooperation on the Land Rover “Open Russia” project, promotional initiatives across the Gazprom Neft filling station network, and other marketing campaigns.
Gazprom Neft Regional Sales Director Alexander Krylov commented: “As partner and official fuel supplier, Gazprom Neft will demonstrate to Jaguar and Land Rover aficionados the benefits and advantages of new-generation G-Drive fuels, ideal for high-performance cars of this kind. Our brands share a common focus on sustainable development, reliability and the highest standards of product quality and service. Those consumers that choose cars of the calibre of Jaguar and Land Rover, and high-quality G-Drive gasoline, will appreciate and understand an alliance between two of the most significant players in the fuels and automotive markets.”
Jaguar Land Rover CEO Frank Wittemann added: “The Russian market is one of the most significant in the world for Jaguar Land Rover, and cooperation with established and reliable local partners is our key to successful development in the long term. We have, over the years, done everything possible to adapt our business to the Russian environment, and have been able to integrate the Jaguar Land Rover company with Russian realities. I hope that, together with Gazprom Neft, Jaguar Land Rover will move up to another level in integration into the Russian market, and will get ever closer to Russian purchasers. We are delighted by this partnership and have every confidence in its success.”
The Gazprom Neft filling station network totals approximately 1,400 filling stations throughout Russia and the CIS. The network’s extensive geographic range, coupled with the highly advantageous location of the company’s Omsk, Moscow and Yaroslavl refineries, continue to ensure Gazprom Neft’s leading position in the wholesale and retail markets of western Siberia and central Russia.
New-generation G-Drive fuels are sold throughout the Gazprom Neft filling station network. The key advantage of these premium fuels, which contain an active complex of additives, include increased engine capacity (of up to 12 percent), better acceleration (of up to 1.8 seconds), and professional protection for engine fuel systems.
