Gazprom Neft and LUKOIL launched cooperation on supplying aircrafts at airport Pulkovo with aviation fuel.

JSC Gazpromneft-Aero and LUKOILAERO LLC have started cooperation on aircraft wing fuelling in Pulkovo international airport (St. Petersburg).

This became possible after acquisition of a 50% stock in Severo-Zapad Fuelling Company LLC by JSC Gazpromneft-Aero.

Severo-Zapad Fuelling Company LLC is reported to have acquired a controlling interest in JSC SOVEKS, company involved in sales of aviation kerosene in Pulkovo international airport

Pulkovo international airport is one of the largest ones in Russia. In 2007 its passenger traffic exceeded 6 million people.

Overall consumption of aviation kerosene in Pulkovo international airport reached to 300 thousand tons annually. Both the centralized fuelling system and fuelling vehicles are used for aircraft fuelling.

Expansion of the aircraft fuelling business is included into Strategic Development Program of LUKOIL Group and provides growth of the aviation fuel sales market and creation of a well developed network of own fuelling complexes both in Russian and abroad.

JSC Gazpromneft-Aero as the JSC Gazprom Neft subsidiary was established to supply aviation kerosene (mainly wing fuelling) to airports in Russia and abroad.
