Gazprom Neft and the Kemerovo Oblast Administration have concluded a socioeconomic partnership agreement. Chairman of the Gazprom Neft Management Board Alexander Dyukov and Kemerovo Oblast Governor Aman Tuleyev signed the document on December 10. The agreement seeks to implement joint socially significant projects, promote investment, scientific, technological, and innovational activity in the region. Also, Gazprom Neft will continue to provide a stable supply of petroleum products to Kemerovo Oblast.
Furthermore, the company will build a state-of-the-art ice arena in Leninsk-Kuznetsky in 2013-2014. The ice arena will be equipped with athletic infrastructural facilities and permanent bleachers capable of holding up to one thousand spectators. After the construction is completed, Gazprom Neft will turn over the new ice arena to the city.
"The signing of the agreement with Kemerovo Oblast will allow us to expand our partnership in the socioeconomic sphere, and concentrate our efforts on a number of significant social projects," Alexander Dyukov emphasized. "We intend to build a state-of-the-art ice arena in Leninsk-Kuznetsky. This new athletic facility will be erected as part of a comprehensive corporate program aimed at developing children's and youth hockey throughout Siberia."
"The Kemerovo Oblast Administration is concluding such an agreement for the first time with Gazprom Neft," Aman Tuleyev noted. "We expect the partnership to be long-term, and are ready on our part to provide the necessary conditions for further development of joint projects."
