Gazprom Neft fuels and lubricants included in “Russia’s 100 best products”

Motor fuels and lubricants produced by Gazprom Neft have been awarded the “Russia’s 100 best products” mark of quality at this year’s competition. The company’s extensive modernisation of its refining and production assets means it is able to increase its production of modern, popular, high-quality oil products, every year.

“Gold” winners at the competition included high-performance G-Drive 100 gasoline, environmentally enhanced TSU-80 marine fuel, automotive LNG produced at the Omsk Refinery, and a Gazpromneft petrol-engine lubricant produced at the Omsk lubricants plant.

G-Drive 100 automotive gasoline contains no octane-enhancing additives and is designed for modern engines requiring an anti-knock number of at least 95. This fuel is widely available throughout the Gazpromneft filling station network. TSU-80 marine fuel — a product unique to the Russian market — is fully compliant with all international requirements and is suitable for use in maritime zones subject to stringent environmental controls, including the Baltic Sea, the North Sea, and the English Channel. Lubricants produced by Gazprom Neft are marked by high-performance characteristics, protecting internal mechanisms and extending their effective service life.

Other products from the Gazprom Neft Omsk Refinery and lubricants plant also won silver, including a high-octane gasoline component, methyl tertiary butyl ether; automotive propane—butane; domestic-use LNG; aromatic hydrocarbons for the chemicals industry; specialist machinery and equipment lubricants; and oils for turbo-charged diesel engines.

Anatoly Cherner, Deputy CEO for Logistics, Processing and Sales, Gazprom Neft, commented: “Gazprom Neft’s investments in modernising its refining assets means we are able to implement the best domestic and international production technologies, constantly increasing our market share in producing innovative products for various industry sectors, in line with market demand. The further implementation of our modernisation programme will allow us to produce new products currently only available in Russia as imports.”
