Gazpromneft-Lubricants has completed an all-Russian promotion action Extra-Sintez (Extra Synthesis) aimed at SibiMotor oils promotion in the retail chain. Over a period of three months every customer buying a four-liter can of semisynthetic SibiMotor Extra 10W-40 engine oil gained a bonus in the form of one free liter of semisynthetic oil. Over five hundred retail outlets from 24 cities of Russia mostly selling automotive spare parts, and over three hundred gasoline service complexes operated by Gazprom Neft’s distribution units took part in the promo-action.
The Extra-Sintez action pursued several objectives including increasing of existing consumers loyalty and acquisition of the new ones, as well as expansion of retail sales. As statistics confirmed, 76 per cent of the retail outlets having taken part in the action launched the SibiMotor products sales less than six months ago following the oil brand restyling conducted by Gazpromneft-Lubricants in December 2008.
