On 4 March, JSC Gazprom Neft opened its informational stand at the Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas.
Boris Zilbermints, the Deputy CEO for Exploration and Production, Victor Savelyev, Director for Geology and Development, Svyatoslav Tipikin, the Head of the Resource and Licensing Department, and Dmitri Volokhov, the head of the HR Department all participated in the opening of the stand.
The Gazprom Neft representatives met with members of the university administration, students, examined the laboratories and class rooms and also visited the museum depicting the history of the university.
The informational stand is fashioned in Gazprom Neft’s corporate colors and contains information about the company’s activities and its management. Moreover, the stand features a video display screen that presents information on Gazprom Neft’s key production indicators.
In his speech at the opening ceremony Boris Zilbermints, the Deputy CEO for Exploration and Production, thanked the University’s administration and students for a warm welcome. “Today we are continuing a great tradition: our company, which signed a strategic agreement with the university, is opening its informational stand here. Gazprom Neft is planning to actively develop, so our company will always be in need of young professionals,” said Boris Zilbermints.
JSC Gazprom Neft has signed a cooperation agreement with the Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas in 2008. Within the framework of the strategic partnership with the university, Gazprom Neft is assisting in the acceptance of university students for practical training, externships and apprenticeships at the company. In its turn, Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas is assisting the company in selecting young specialists, and organizes programs to improve qualifications and retrain Gazprom Neft personnel.
The agreement also provides for joint R&D work, and for having company employees teach at the university.
The informational stand project at Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas was created with the joint participation of the Department of Corporate Communications and the HR Department.
NIS announced the first tender competitions for the purchase of equipment for the implementation of the program for the technical modernization and reconstruction of its processing complex.
