Gazprom Neft has signed an agreement on cooperating with SIBUR, SKOLKOVO Business School and the Administration of the Leningrad Oblast in developing their Professionals 4.0 platform. The document was signed at this year’s St Petersburg International Economic Forum by Alexander Dyukov, CEO and Chairman of the Management Board, Gazprom Neft, Mikhail Karisalov, CEO and Chairman of the Management Board, SIBUR PJSC, Andrei Sharonov, President, SKOLKOVO Business School, and Alexander Drozdenko, Governor of the Leningrad Oblast.
Collaboration through the Professionals 4.0 platform is directed at finding talented professionals to address technological and managerial projects, through flexible teams. The objective of this strategic partnership is to combine organisational and digital capabilities in taking project implementation to a new level.
The platform is being developed as a major Federal project, supported by the “Russia — Land of Opportunity” NGO and is open to major Russian companies, government agencies and individual professionals. It offers an innovative model for sourcing and engaging talented professionals in real-sector technological development in the Russian economy, whereby specialists have the opportunity of offering their knowledge and skills in working on clients’ tasks, without having to be employed full-time at that organisation.
Leading companies, business schools and government agencies have already placed more than 70 projects through the platform, which finalists and semi-finalists in the 2019 Leaders of Russia competition began working on in April. The Leningrad Oblast is the first constituent entity of the Russian Federation to be given access to the Professionals 4.0 platform, with the Administration of the Leningrad Oblast publishing 10 tasks, all touching on expanding investment opportunities in the region.
Alexander Dyukov, CEO and Chairman of the Management Board, Gazprom Neft, commented: “The Professionals 4.0 project can only succeed as part of an ecosystem involving a large number of participants and partners. We are delighted that the platform has caused considerable interest among both large progressive companies and regional government agencies, as well as leading Russian business school. This means we can develop the functionality of Professionals 4.0, offer users a wide range of interesting jobs across various areas of the economy and public administration and, ultimately, attract ever more new talented professionals to the platform.”Alexander Dyukov CEO and Chairman of the Management Board, Gazprom Neft
Mikhail Karisalov, CEO and Chairman of the Management Board, SIBUR PJSC, commented: “SIBUR works very productively with talented professionals to increase the efficiency of the company’s business processes, on both the internal and external markets. We see the Professionals 4.0 digital platform as yet another tool for finding interesting solutions. Engaging outside expertise will allow us to further improve efficiency.”Mikhail Karisalov CEO and Chairman of the Management Board, SIBUR PJSC
Andrei Sharonov, President, SKOLKOVO Business School, added: “SKOLKOVO Business School was one of the first partners on the Professionals 4.0 project. We see the platform as a risk-free space in which companies faced with unusual tasks can meet ambitious specialists ready to work in flexible teams. For us, access to the platform means an opportunity to get a fresh view on developing projects in business education, and to continue our collaboration with the best specialists, in the future.”Andrei Sharonov President, SKOLKOVO Business School
According to Alexander Drozdenko, Governor of the Leningrad Oblast, collaborating on the platform will bring about new management techniques and ground-breaking ideas for solving current government problems. “We are seeing interest in our projects on the part of professionals, and will be delighted if participants see genuine opportunities for applying their talents in the Leningrad Oblast.”Alexander Drozdenko Governor of the Leningrad Oblast
The Professionals 4.0 platform was released during the final of the Leaders of Russia competition in Sochi in March 2019. The project brings major companies together with talented professionals in addressing technological and managerial challenges, through flexible teams. The platform offers direct engagement via a website and mobile app, as well as online facilities for networking and professional development. Once registered, users can access its database to select tasks of interest to them. Partners including SIBUR, Ruselectronics, Rostelecom, Rosseti, SKOLKOVO Business School, Ernst & Young, the Administration of the Leningrad Oblast and others are already involved in the project.
