Gazprom Neft and Japan’s JOGMEC have signed a Memorandum of Understanding on collaborating on exploration and production throughout the Russian Federation. The document was signed by Gazprom Neft CEO Alexander Dyukov and JOGMEC President Keisuke Kuroki at the 2016 St Petersburg International Economic Forum.
Pursuant to this agreement the two companies will extend their collaboration on further improving oil production technologies, as well as discussing joint programmes in personnel development.
Gazprom Neft has worked with JOGMEC successfully since 2012. During this time the company has achieved significant progress in further refining strategies for collaboration, and in sharing information. Building on their recently signed agreement, both parties will continue to work together on a wide range of projects.
