Gazprom Neft started supply of oil products for sea transport

Gazpromneft Marine Bunker LLC, a bunker subsidiary of JSC Gazprom Neft, in early December executed the first supply of oil products for sea transport to the ports of Saint-Petersburg and of the Far East.

At present around 10 thousands of tons of fuels are bunkered of which 5 thousands of tons are supplied to the port of Saint-Petersburg under direct contracts with customers and another 5 thousands of tons of oil products are sold to large bunker companies in the ports of the Far East Primorie.

Beginning from January, 2008 Gazpromneft Marine Bunker intends to make direct supplies to the end users of fuel in the ports of the Far East.

At present Gazpromneft Marine Bunker supplies fuel via the leased facilities: terminals and fuelers. Oil products are shipped from Omsk Refinery, Moscow Refinery and Yaroslavl Refinery. The main volume of shipment is provided by Omsk Refinery.

Background: Gazpromneft Marine Bunker LLC was established in October, 2007. The company intends to provide guaranteed, efficient, all--year-round supply of oil products (black oil fuel, marine fuels and oils) and in 2009 it plans to achieve the annual rate of 1.5 millions of tons.

Saint-Petersburg, Novorossiysk, Murmansk and ports of the Far East will be the main regions of the business activity of the company.

Program of bunker business development elaborated by JSC Gazprom Neft enables to increase the volume of retail sales via proprietary distribution networks and provides for additional profit from retailing.
