Gazpromneft-Aero was granted a status of an official refueling operator of the air display teams participating in the 10th Anniversary International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS-2011 held in the town of Zhukovskiy, Moscow Region. The fuel for the aircraft filling-up was delivered by the company to the Russian Knights (Russkiye Vityazi), Swifts (Strizhi), Falcons of Russia (Sokoly Rossii), Russia (Rus’), Baltic Bees (Latvia), and other aerobatic teams.

Gazpromneft-Aero is a subsidiary of Gazprom Neft operating in the field of aircraft fueling and providing into-plane fueling services from January 1, 2008. In December 2008, Gazpromneft-Aero entered into a strategic partnership with International Air Transport Association (IATA) in the sphere of jet fueling.
Gazpromneft-Aero keeps a leading position in the Russian market entering the top three in terms of domestic sales.
Gazpromneft-Aero is the major jet fuel supplier within the territory of the Russian Federation. The company operates an own network of jet fueling complexes. In 2010, Gazpromneft-Aero came out on top among network operators in the Russian retail market in terms of aviation kerosene into-plane sales.
Currently, Gazpromneft-Aero’s business presence abroad includes over 40 airports in Europe, Southeast Asia, Central Asia, and Mediterranean. In the long view, the Company anticipates to enter the African and Middle Eastern markets.
Gazpromneft-Aero’s development strategy till 2020 envisions the development of its own network of modern fueling facilities. In the long view, the Company plans to create a network of over 20 fueling facilities located in Russian and foreign airports.
