Gazpromneft-Aero , the operator of Gazprom Neft’s aviation fuel business, has concluded new agreements to fuel the flights of Russian airlines abroad during winter 2012 — 2013. It’s the first time the company has entered Jordan’s and Vietnam’s markets.
Gazpromneft-Aero has also expanded its presence in France and India. The company has begun fueling Transaero Airlines aircraft at Paris Orly Airport and at Trivandrum Airport located in the Indian state of Kerala, where Gazpromneft-Aero partners with Pegas and Nordwind airlines . Thus the company has expanded its overseas presence to 89 airports in over thirty countries of the world. Fuelling operations in overseas airports are performed as part of the agreements between Gazpromneft-Aero and its partners, leading suppliers of aviation fuel on national markets.
Gazpromneft-Aero’s CEO Vladimir Yegorov noted, “The fall/winter navigation period is traditionally less busy for airlines than the spring/summer period. Nevertheless, we are continuing to expand the geographic presence of Gazpromneft-Aero in the most high-demand directions during this season. Partnership with leading national fueling companies makes it possible to guarantee to our Russian partners that they will be fuelled in time and at a good price.”
